Our recent MHS: Classroom of Choice for the Week goes to Mr. Eddy’s 5th Hour Intro to Law class! These students collaborated to coordinate the prosecution and defense of a murder trial to a guest jury, which led to a hung decision! Congrats on making #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice!


MHS World Language Dept: Our foreign exchange students gave presentations about their home countries and study abroad experiences here in the U.S to our WL classes. This year we are hosting students from Serbia, Belgium, India, Georgia, and Thailand. #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

Mr. Deters Advanced Accounting students recently spent the day at one of the BIG4 accounting firms in the World, Ernst and Young. The students were answering questions, having thoughtful discussions and having some fun along the way! #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice






The MHS Air Force JROTC held a semi-annual Change of Command ceremony. Cadet John Sullivan (jr) took command from Cadet Daniel Ponce (sr). Highlighting the ceremony was a Pass and Review ceremony marched to music provided by Mr. Muskopf and the MHS band. #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice









Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the annual State Leadership Conference in Springfield. 40 students competed and 10 placed in the Top 4, qualifying them to compete at the National Conference in Orlando. #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

Our recent MHS: Classroom Of Choice of the week is nominated by Mrs. Bass and goes to Ms. Holtgrewe’s 2nd hour World Mythology class! All students in class were invested and collaborated on their skits, had a role, costumes and props! Congrats on making #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice!


The G.R.E.A.T. Event will be an awesome transition fair for students and families who have IEPs to explore the many local agencies and services available to them after high school. It is sponsored by the Monroe-St. Clair-Randolph Transition Planning Committee and will be held at SWIC. #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice


Members of the MHS Ecology Club volunteered at the annual Knobeloch Woods Wildflower Hike this weekend. Students were stationed along the trail to ID flowers and explain the history and possible uses for the plants. #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice







MHS Art: Photography students will showcase their Spring Exhibition to the community on April 18 from 5-7pm. Their artwork will encompass different units of study from this semester. This event is being hosted by Kappert Group, and the pieces will be exhibited in their newly opened Photo Gallery located at 8 East Main St. in Mascoutah. MHS students and staff enjoyed a piece of history as they viewed the 2024 Solar Eclipse together on Alumni Field!! Rocking their eclipse glasses, they had some fun and watched a pretty amazing show today!! #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice
