Our 4th graders at MES brought BIG creativity to our halls this morning after designing and building their very own balloons for our special version of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! From favorite characters to imaginative creations, these student-made balloons floated proudly as the whole school cheered them on.
The 4th graders worked so hard and their effort showed in every bright, colorful detail. The rest of the students absolutely loved watching the parade go by!
And just when we thought the excitement couldn’t get any better… Santa himself made a surprise appearance! 🎅✨

We are beyond grateful for our amazing Food Service team, who once again knocked it out of the park with this year’s Thanksgiving meal for students and staff across all five of our schools! Their dedication, talent, and hard work shine through in every detail, and we couldn’t appreciate them more.
A huge thank you as well to all of our incredible volunteers who helped serve meals. This tradition is something our Food Service Department and our students look forward to every year, and today was another wonderful success! #M19Pride #19EveryStudent

Mascoutah Elementary School wants to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible substitute teachers and staff during National Substitute Appreciation Week. They keep our school running smoothly and our students learning. Today our MES students proudly celebrated Veterans Day alongside their families and our incredible veterans! The assembly was filled with heartfelt moments — saying the Pledge of Allegiance with Mascoutah Pack 8057 to our students singing beautiful and meaningful songs that filled the room with pride and gratitude.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Ciardelli and Mr. Collier for all their hard work, creativity, and dedication in bringing this wonderful program to life. Your efforts made today truly special!
We are so thankful for our families who took time out of their day to join us in honoring our veterans and celebrating together. Your voices, smiles, and support made this day extra special!
To all who have served and continue to serve — thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication to our country.

🌟 MES Shoutouts ! 🌟
During this Month of Gratitude and Caring, we are so proud to celebrate some of our amazing MES scholars who are showing true gratitude and generosity right here in our community! 💜
Recently, a proud MES parent shared that her boys set up a lemonade stand during the September bike ride and raised $550. While their original goal was to save for a neighborhood go-kart, they made the incredible decision to donate $500 of their earnings to the Mascoutah Food Pantry! 🥰🍋
Acts of kindness like this remind us that leadership, compassion, and community spirit start young—and our MES scholars are shining examples of that!
👏 Let’s give them a big round of applause for making a difference and spreading kindness in Mascoutah! We couldn’t be prouder! 💙💛
