Unfortunately, Read, Right & Run has been suspended. If there are any updates, look for them on the MSD19 Health Center or on any communications sent out to families or faculty/staff.
Read, Right & Run is a great activity available for 5th graders. Students began meeting weekly after school in January. They always have a running assignment of some kind—building up their stamina to running 2 miles around the school neighborhood. In addition, students do the right things by helping teachers in whatever capacity they can. Also, they are required to maintain a reading log and are expected to read a certain amount each week.
In April, these students participate in the GO! St. Louis Read, Right & Run event held in Forest Park. This is a great event promoting physical fitness, reading, and doing the RIGHT thing!
