Per the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) guidelines, Fourth Quarter grades were not to negatively impact any of our students. You will see that many of the report cards will show a P/I (Pass/Incomplete) grade for Fourth Quarter, but the final grade for year-long classes, or the semester grade for semester classes, will show a traditional letter grade. If the Fourth Quarter grade was lower than the Third Quarter grade, an adjustment was made. Many students were able to use this time as an advantage to raise their final/semester grade. If the grade was not raised, please note that the Fourth Quarter did not hurt your child’s final/semester grade.
